Celia Brickman is the Director of Education at the Center for Religion and Pyschotherapy of Chicago (www.crpchicago.org), where she also teaches and practices psychotherapy. A native of Montreal, Canada, she spent several years in India before coming to Chicago, where she received her doctorate at the University of Chicago’s Divinity School in Religion and the Human Sciences. In addition to Aboriginal Populations in the Mind, she has published several articles and given many talks on topics at the intersection of psychoanalysis, race and religion.
